District Shop Update

After the purchase of the District Shop, we’ve been able to add signage to make it easier to locate our shop. The driveway and building are now both clearly labeled – thank you to our grounds & maintenance crew for putting the signs up!

Middle School Career Exploration Day

Tuesday, May 14 was Career Exploration Day at the Middle School! Students were able to learn about different careers and trades with over 55 trades & businesses in attendance. Our own district electrician, Duke Bjorklund, was on-hand and ready to show kids what being an electrician is all about. He engaged the students by showing them the different equipment he works with and how our district is working to cut our energy usage and costs.

Field of the Year Award

Tracy Closson and Travis Pasch received the 2018 Field of the Year award from the Minnesota Park and SportsTurf Managers Association. Receiving this recognition for their work on Memorial Field is a tribute to our team at the Grounds Shop. Thank you for providing the finest facilities for our students and student athletes. Congratulations!
