Northfield Public Schools Community Education supports the learning and participation of all members of our community through citizen involvement, access to school and community resources, and promotion of collaboration and partnerships.

Community Education offers a wide range of programming serving infants through adults in our community.

Sponsor a Kid Scholarship Fund

Community Education runs an ongoing scholarship program for youth that qualify for free and reduced lunch.The scholarships support youth in enrichment and recreation programs, in which they might not otherwise be able to participate. Call Community Education at 507.664.3649 for more information about receiving scholarships.

Make a difference in a student’s life!

With a one-time gift of $75, you can sponsor a kid for an entire year – providing out-of-school opportunities for local students. To sponsor a kid: send a check to the Community Education Department, at 700 Lincoln Parkway, Northfield, MN, 55057; or add your gift to the contribution line of your registration form before submission. (Please write “Sponsor a Kid” in the memo of your check.) Donations of any amount will be welcomed!
