Event for Fall ’13 Kindergarteners
To help families of upcoming kindergarteners get ready to start school, Northfield Public Schools and the Early Childhood Initiative Coalition (ECIC) are holding a special event at each of the three elementary schools next week.
Clarke Honored by Fellow Educators
Art Educators of Minnesota (AEM) has recognized Northfield High School teacher Christie Clarke for her leadership in the field of visual art education. At the organization's fall conference on Nov. 9, Clarke will receive both the AEM Secondary Art Teacher of the Year award and the overall AEM Art Teacher of the Year award.
Connected Kids Wins Award
The Northfield Public Schools Community Services program, Connected Kids, was one of four in the state to be honored by the Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota (MPM) at a celebration on Oct. 14.
