Children’s Theater to Perform ‘The Wizard of Oz’
More than 60 local youth will take the stage this weekend, along with professional actors from Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre, to perform the company's version of the classic American tale, "The Wizard of Oz."
Diabetes Support Group Started
Claire and Linnea Larson, a local mother-daughter team, will launch a free support group at 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 5 for families and children facing the challenges of Type 1 diabetes. The group plans to host nine meetings throughout the school year for families in Northfield and surrounding areas.
Three Northfield students named National Merit Semifinalists; Seven named National Merit Commended Students
Northfield Public Schools is pleased to announce that three Northfield High School seniors have been named National Merit Semifinalists and seven have been named Commended students. Semifinalists are Audrey Kornkven, Clark Ohnesorge and Olivia Riggins.
