Tragic news: death of a student
This message was sent to families about the tragic death of a Northfield High School student, Melanie Valencia. The visitation and funeral will be held on Sunday, Aug. 7. The visitation will be held from 10:00 am—1:30 pm at the Bierman Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 2:00 pm at St. Dominic Church.
NPD requesting help in finding missing Prairie Creek student
The Northfield Police Department (NPD) is asking for the community’s help in locating 6-year-old Elle Ragin, who is a student at Prairie Creek Community School and is missing.
Shane Baier named Northfield High School principal
