Finance Team

  • 81.4% of our 2024-25 annual operating budget is for direct student instruction and support.
  • Our District’s AA+ S&P Bond Rating (second highest possible rating) is a testament to our strong fiscal oversight.
  • In 2023, Northfield spent $7,627 per student on direct student instruction. This is $983 per student (15%) more than the state average.
  • In 2023, Northfield spent $1,043 per student on administration and district services. This is $257 per student (20%) less than the state average.
  • Northfield received the School Finance Award from the MN Department of Education for 2023 financial reporting. This is the twelfth consecutive year we have received this honor.
