Beginning Thursday, October 15, the entrance to the south parking lot at the high school from the west (Raider Drive) will be closed off due to underground sanitary/storm sewer work. The south parking lot and Memorial Field can be accessed from the Division Street entrance during that time. Access is anticipated to be restored at the end of the day on Friday, October 16. Our nation is a little more than two weeks away from the November 6, 2018, mid-term elections. There are numerous political races garnering attention across the nation and Minnesota. One of the most important questions on the ballot here in Northfield is the school district bond referendum election. I will be sharing three posts about the bond referendum election between now and election day.

Much of our community is still cleaning up damage from last night's severe weather in and around Northfield. We know many families and staff members have been impacted dramatically. While there is horrific property damage throughout the District, we are grateful to understand there are no reported injuries. We all know it could have been far worse.
