Graduation Date Reminder
At their Sept. 13 meeting, the school board approved changing the Northfield High School Graduation date from Saturday, June 4, 2011 to Sunday, June 5, 2011 at 2 p.m. The location will be Memorial Field, which is on the high school campus.
SummerVentures Orientation and Registration
Northfield Public Schools SummerVentures program is holding a parent orientation from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on April 11 at Longfellow School in room 102. Children entering grades 1 - 6 can make the most out of their summer at this day camp with experienced staff and a safe environment.

Public Hearing on 2011-12 Budget
At 7 p.m. on March 16, Superintendent Chris Richardson will present his recommendations for 2011-12 budget reductions at a public hearing in the high school auditorium and give members of the community an opportunity to provide comment to the Northfield Board of Education on the proposed budget reductions and restoration priorities.
2011-12 Superintendent’s Budget Reductions Recommendation to the Board
After reviewing the work and recommendations of almost 125 individuals in the five program committees and the work of the 55 members of the District Budget Review Committee, Superintendent Chris Richardson will present his 2011-2012 budget reduction proposal and restoration priorities to the Northfield Board of Education at its March 14 meeting.
