Hit the new skate park at 1 p.m. on Saturday to watch some of the best local boarders perform tricks and skilled maneuvers, and stay for a free introductory clinic – where youth in attendance can ride and learn a few basic maneuvers.
Student Sculpture to be Installed Downtown
The fourth creation of the Northfield Young Sculptors Project, "Rain on Mars," will be unveiled at a public celebration on Thursday, June 2, next to the newly reopened Northfield Public Library.
Summer Music in 2016
The Northfield Community Band will kick off its free concert series at 7 p.m. on June 9 at Bridge Square. Bring a blanket or chairs at 7 p.m. every following Thursday in June, and enjoy music and the river view from the downtown park.
Heart Specialists to Speak at Free Event
Two cardiovascular consultants from the Minneapolis Heart Institute will discuss heart health topics at a free presentation on Tuesday, May 17, at the Northfield High School auditorium.
