Cyber-Bullying Presentation Feb. 10
Dave Eisenmann, Director of Instructional Technology & Media Services at Minnetonka Public Schools, will be speaking to 6, 7 and 8 grade students at the Northfield Middle School about cyber-bullying on Feb. 10. Eisenmann will discuss Facebook and other social media use, texting, and internet safety.
Local Author to Kick Off Reading Challenge
Northfield author Mary Bleckwehl will read her new book, “Henry! You’re Late AGAIN!,” in each Hand in Hand preschool class on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. This event will kick off a 30 day reading challenge, encouraging parents to read to their child every day for a month.

The 2010 Minnesota Student Survey results were recently released. The survey focuses on behaviors that affect the health and well-being of young people.
Kids Voting Poster Contest Winners
Two Northfield Public Schools students were recognized as second place winners in the state-wide Kids Voting Poster Contest on Jan. 10.
