School Building Security Changes
Beginning Feb. 18, Northfield Public Schools will begin locking or securing the main entrance to school buildings from the start until the end of the regular school day.

Tickets to Northfield High School's 2013 Rock 'n' Roll Revival will be on sale to the general public from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9,at the high school auditorium box office; and from 3 to 4 p.m.on Feb. 11 at the high school main office until all seats are sold.
Community Services February Events
Students ages 8 and older will become Jedi masters as they wield a lightsaber in Lightsaber Dueling, from 6:30 – 8 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 15, andagain on Feb. 22. Class is $14 and will be held at the Longfellow School Gymnasium.
DECA Students to Compete at State
Nineteen high school business club students have qualified for the opportunity to compete at the Minnesota DECA conference, from March 3 - 5 in Minneapolis.

In response to the popularity of the class, Community Services has added a February section to the winter/spring season of Getting Started with your iPad.
Help Support Literacy in Northfield
Now there's an easy way to get books into the hands of young people. Bring your gently used children's books to any of the three district elementary schools or the Northfield Community Resource Center (NCRC), next to the Clothes Closet, and leave them in specially marked boxes.
Tattered Pages Season a Success
The middle school’s student-run bookstore, The Tattered Pages, had a successful season this year with its Sixth Annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza.
