** Due to the improving travel conditions, this evening’s district band concert will be held as scheduled at Northfield High School at 7:00 p.m. Staff will be available at the elementary schools and middle school between 4:00 and 5:30 p.m. so that students can pick up their instruments. **

The Northfield Public Schools will be closed tomorrow, Monday, March 16, 2026, due to conditions related to the current blizzard.  All classes and activities are canceled for the day. The Northfield High School Pre-Bid Walkthrough will be held as scheduled on March 16 from 3:30-5:30 p.m.

Bond Referendum Passes, Board Members Elected

The Northfield School District bond referendum passed on November 6, 2018, with 62.25% voting in favor and 37.75% voting against it. Julie Pritchard, Jeff Quinnell, and Tom Baraniak were elected to the Board of Education.

The Northfield Community Band will kick off its free concert series at 7 p.m. on June 8 at Bridge Square. Bring a blanket or chairs at 7 p.m. every following Thursday in June, and enjoy music and the river view from the downtown park.
