Longfellow School is home to programs that work connectively with students, parents and staff. Programs such as Hand in Hand Preschool and Early Childhood Special Education serve the earliest learners, while the Area Learning Center’s staff provide a safe and structured non-traditional high school program.
The building is also home to a convenient child care center operated by the district’s Ventures program.
The Student Services office is home base for overseeing district programs and services for students with special needs and those who may be “at risk” of school failure. The Curriculum & Staff Development office is responsible for overseeing and supporting K-12 curriculum, as well as providing quality staff development. Both departments collaborate with classroom teachers, parents and organizations.
