More than 65 family members, teachers and administrators gathered at the Northfield High School on Dec. 13 to honor 13 high school seniors who have received semifinalist or "commended student" recognitions for their academic performance.

New Director of Business Services Joins District
Stephanie Shawback, of Lakeville, has joined the Northfield Public Schools as the new Director of Business Services effective November 1.
Board Decides Not to Pursue Agreement with the Northfield Area YMCA
In a vote of 5 to 2, the school board defeated a resolution to “proceed into negotiation with the Northfield YMCA regarding the construction of a building that through a joint use agreement would be built and operated by the Northfield YMCA."
