Calendar Conversation Website
Last night more than 40 people attended the first in three meetings in the district's Calendar Conversation project, a broad discussion of the future of the school calendar.
Conferences and Kindergarten Information Night Postponed
As a result of school closing today, the March 5 Northfield High School parent-teacher conferences and Greenvale Park Kindergarten Information Night have been postponed.
Calendar Discussion Events
The Northfield Board of Education and district administration would like to invite parents, students and community members to participate in a broad discussion of the future of school calendars, beyond 2013-14. The first of three calendar meetings will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on March 7 in the high school upper cafeteria.
2013-2014 Calendar Approved
At its Feb. 25 meeting, the Northfield Board of Education approved the 2013-2014 school year calendar.

School Building Security Changes
Beginning Feb. 18, Northfield Public Schools will begin locking or securing the main entrance to school buildings from the start until the end of the regular school day.
