With adventure seekers and nature enthusiasts in mind, Community Services has added a new “outdoor adventure” category to recreation programs. Starting this month, youth and adults can snowshoe at night, ski with an expert, or participate in bouldering or other team-based activities.

Dakota Prairie Adult Basic Education (ABE) offers free classes throughout the school year in Northfield for adults who need to brush up on their basic skills, complete their GED (General Education Development), prepare for college or improve their English skills.

District Advisory Council Seeks New Members
Northfield Public Schools is seeking volunteers to serve on the District Educational Program Advisory Council (DEPAC), a group that works to assure community-school cooperation in setting improvement goals, evaluating progress toward meeting annual objectives, and reporting findings and recommendations.
