Northfield Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, April 2. The National Weather Service continues to predict freezing rain through the morning hours. Out of an abundance of caution for student, staff and family safety, today will be the second E-Learning Day. All classes and activities are canceled for the day. This is our second e-Learning Day. 2024 Election Results

Claudia Gonzalez-George, Corey Butler, and Amy Goerwitz were re-elected to the school board, and Maggie Epstein will join them as a new board member. We thank Tristan Cox, Iris Lee, and Andreas Thurnheer for their interest in the district and running for the board. All three bond referendum questions passed.

NCEC Playground Tree Removal and Trimming

On Thursday and Friday, October 17 and 18, Cannon River Tree Care will remove several infected ash trees from the Northfield Community Education Center's playground and one tree from the ECFE outdoor classroom. The playground and ECFE classroom will be closed while the work is taking place. In addition, the trees around the main entrance to the building will be trimmed. The trees will be replaced in the spring.
