The period for filing affidavits of candidacy for the office of school board member of the Northfield School District will begin on Tuesday, July 31, 2012, and close at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2012.

Transformational Technology Public Information Meeting
Northfield Public Schools will hold a public information session regarding the progress of the district's transformational technology proposal at 6 p.m. on June 7 in the Northfield High School auditorium. The proposal considers the use of tablet computers by teachers and students.
Graduation Location Reminder
Northfield High School will host commencement exercises for the class of 2012 at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 3, at Memorial Field. In the case of inclement weather, graduation will be moved to the high school gymnasium.

The 25th annual Maroon and Gold Athletic Reception will be held on Tuesday, May 22, at the Northfield Middle School. As the event sponsor, the Northfield Booster Club will kick off the evening with a punch bowl reception at 6:15 p.m. with cake and coffee. The awards ceremony will begin at 7 p.m.
