NHS commencement will move inside today
To prioritize the safety of our graduates and attendees, we will host today’s commencement ceremony inside the Northfield High School gymnasium instead of on Memorial Field. The decision comes after district and school administration consulted with Rice County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service. This afternoon’s NWS forecast includes potential thunderstorms during our ceremony. Learn more here.
Title I is a federally funded program through the Elementary & Secondary Act (ESEA) designed to provide support to students who are performing below grade level in reading and/or math. The emphasis is on high academic standards with aligned curriculum, assessment, and professional development. This program is an important part of Minnesota’s Basic Skills and Graduation Standards reform movement.
