Good Afternoon, Northfield Public Schools Families:
As an attempt to end this unprecedented week on a positive note, we are going to try something new tonight. Using the “Zoom” video conferencing tool, families can log in for a read-a-loud for elementary-aged children with me at 7:00 pm. I plan to read one book and tell the children how much we’ve missed them at school. Our Zoom webinar system has the capacity for up to 500 people at a time. You can download the “Zoom Client for Meetings” for your computer here or you can download the app for your cell phone or tablet’s app store. You can also call just use your phone to call in using the numbers below. The District is planning to use Zoom as a component of our distance learning framework, so this is an opportunity to get acquainted with it. I encourage you to log on a little bit early. I plan to start promptly at 7:00 pm.
