Motorists Can Help Keep Kids Safe
As National School Bus Safety Week approaches (October 16-20), the Minnesota Department of Public Safety is reminding motorists that failing to stop for school buses can risk children’s lives. In Minnesota, motorists must stop at least 20 feet from a school bus that is displaying red flashing lights and a stop arm when approaching from the rear and from the opposite direction on undivided roads.
Community Referendum Presentation and NHS tours
The community is invited to learn more about the upcoming Special Election on November 7, 2017, by attending a presentation by Superintendent Dr. Matt Hillmann about the operating levy and bond referendum election. The presentation will be held on Monday, October 16 beginning at 7 PM in the Northfield High School Auditorium.
