For those that are new to Sibley, the Trash To Cash program is a collection of passive fundraisers that run throughout the year. Passive fundraising is a fantastic way to get funds for Sibley without going outside of your daily activities and money expenditures. You simply turn in specific labels, & receipts from qualifying products.
Thanks to Econo Foods the T2C program is already off to a great start. After collecting $150,000 worth of Econo receipts from Sibley families we received a $1000 check in August. Huge thanks to Carl Nass and the Spartan Nash corporation for their Direct your Dollars program. Keep sending in your receipts they can add up fast.
Trash To Cash is always looking for volunteers. It’s one of the few volunteer positions that you can do in your jammies while watching your favorite TV show. The bags of “trash” come home through your student. You count them and return them through your student. Super easy for you and super helpful for us. Please consider signing up on the PTO Volunteer sheet that will be in the Ready, Set, Go Day folders.
In a few weeks, your student will bring home a list of the programs that Sibley is participating in this year. It will have all the specifics you need on what to save. It will also explain how and when to turn your “trash” in. Please read it carefully as there have been a few changes. For now, save your Econo receipts and Kwik Trip milk tops, and clip those Box Tops.
