Morning News Show
The Middle School Morning News is a student-operated, live news show that is streamed at 7:55 a.m each week day. Students in grades 6 through 8 can apply each spring for positions on the show the next fall. Student positions include writing, producing, directing and anchoring.
The Tattered Pages
The middle school’s student-run bookstore, The Tattered Pages, provides an opportunity for middle school students to purchase books for themselves and gifts without spending actual money. Students earn coupons in a variety of ways, such as donating books, working in the bookstore and completing volunteer jobs.
Research shows that successful students have access to books at home and spend their free time reading for pleasure. Tattered Pages collects donations year-round and holds special events in December and May – in preparation for the gift-giving season and Mother’s Day. Please contact the media center staff with questions.
