Greenvale Park offers many fun opportunities for parents and students. Some of our recent annual school-wide events include: Evening of the Arts; Cup Stacking Competition and the PTO Move-a-thon.
Our building-wide meetings occur the last Friday every month at 8:40 am or 1:20 p.m. We celebrate student achievement by recognizing “Gecko Goal Getters” – students who have set a goal, persevered and succeeded in meeting that goal. Character Kid nominations also are celebrated at these gatherings.

Check out the Greenvale Park Community School, also known as GECKO, for many events and opportunities happening at the school.
Parent-Teacher Conference Childcare
Take advantage of free childcare during conferences. This allows for a more relaxed and focused conversation between parents and teachers.
The Greenvale Park Student Council is comprised of a group of students chosen by their peers to represent them in working to improve the school. Student council is for students in grades three through five. There are two representatives per class. Student council representatives are voted in during the fall, and they represent their class for the entire school year. The representatives are also ambassadors to a younger classroom (grades K-2). The staff contacts for student council are Ryan Driscoll and Carrie Rice, at Ryan.Driscoll@northfieldschools.org and Carrie.Rice@northfieldschools.org.
Student council meets on the first Friday of each month at 7:50 a.m. in the media center.
