Birthday Party Packages
Plan a stress-free birthday party with Community Services by choosing one of our many party packages! Options include sports (flag football, dodgeball, floor hockey, soccer and kickball); recreation (scooters, moon balls, hula-hoops and parachutes); teambuilding (group games, team initiatives and relays); pool activities (noodles, kickboards and dive toys) and crafts. Party packages are flexible and vary in cost by the activity chosen and number of kids attending. Sponsor a Kid
Community Services runs an ongoing scholarship program for youth that qualify for free and reduced lunch.The scholarships support youth in enrichment and recreation programs, in which they might not otherwise be able to participate.Call Community Services at 507.664.3649 for more information about receiving scholarships.
Make a difference in a student’s life!
With a one-time gift of $75, you can sponsor a kid for an entire year – providing out-of-school opportunities for local students. To sponsor a kid: send a check to the Community Services Division, at 1651 Jefferson Parkway, Northfield, MN, 55057; or add your gift to the contribution line of your registration form before submission. (Please write “Sponsor a Kid” in the memo of your check.) Donations of any amount will be welcomed!
The Northfield Community Band presents a free concert series in downtown Northfield every June. The series consists of four Thursday evening concerts performed on Bridge Square. The band is comprised of high school and adult instrumentalists, willing to share their talents. Summer 2016 performances will be at 7 p.m. on Thursdays, June 9, 16, 23 & 30.
Interested in joining the band? Rehearsals are 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesdays, June 1, 8, 15, 22 & 29 in the Northfield High School band room. Contact Mary Williams with questions.
