VOLUNTEERING

Thank you for your interest in serving our community by volunteering in our schools! We encourage parents/guardians to connect directly with their student’s teacher about volunteer opportunities in the classroom.  You may also fill out this form to get started: Northfield Public Schools Volunteer Form.  Once the form is completed someone from the school(s) you selected will reach out to you.

All volunteers (including field trip chaperones) must complete a Background Check & Confidentiality Acknowledgment every school year.

Other Volunteering Opportunities

There are a variety of ways to get plugged in at Bridgewater!

*Contact your child’s teacher for specific classroom needs they may have
*Contact the Bridgewater Booster Club, or better yet, attend a meeting to see where you can get plugged in
*Call the office to express your interest and we can help find a need in the building!

Support the Bridgewater Booster Club

The Bridgewater Booster Club (BBC) is Bridgewater Elementary’s version of a PTO (parent-teacher organization). We’re a non-profit volunteer group that raises money to support Bridgewater events and programs as well as help to coordinate volunteers and organize activities. Our goal is to enhance our children’s education as much as possible. BBC sponsored events and programs include Boosterthon—our annual fundraiser, Classroom Dollars, Kindness Assemblies, Scholarships for Field Trips, Scholastic Book Fairs, and so much more!

All Bridgewater parents and guardians are welcome at our meetings—it’s a great way to meet other families and learn more about the school.  Come anytime – there is no membership, just a great way to find out what is happening at Bridgewater!
