Our Schools
Northfield Public Schools’ educational system for youth includes early childhood, three elementary schools, a middle school, a high school, an alternative high school, and an online learning program offered through Owatonna Online. We are well-positioned to offer a high quality, well-rounded education that strives to meet the specific needs of each student of any age and prepare its graduates for lifelong success. The district is also committed to the lifelong learning of Northfield residents and offers adult and youth enrichment programs through Community Education.
K–5 Elementary Schools
All three of our elementary schools strive to empower learners and build foundations. We offer a comprehensive core curriculum that includes a Spanish immersion option through our Compañeros program as well as experiences in art, vocal, string, and instrumental music, physical education and media.
