Northfield Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, April 2. The National Weather Service continues to predict freezing rain through the morning hours. Out of an abundance of caution for student, staff and family safety, today will be the second E-Learning Day. All classes and activities are canceled for the day. This is our second e-Learning Day. Thousands of Minnesota families are eligible for low cost health insurance under MinnesotaCare. Enacted by the legislature the plan is open to families who meet certain income guidelines. More information and/or applications are available through the school social worker, call 1-800-657-3672 and ask for MinnesotaCare, or go to the Minnesota Department of Health’s Guide to Minnesota’s Public Health Care Programs.
