Dear Northfield School District Community,
At a special school board meeting held on Thursday, April 16, 2026, the Northfield School Board selected six semifinalists to interview for the district’s superintendent position. The semifinalists are:
- Dr. Tim Anderson, Executive Director of Academic Services, Prior Lake-Savage Area Public Schools, MN
- Bradley Berzinski, Superintendent, Winona Area Public Schools, MN
- Dr. Adam Kunz, Assistant Superintendent, Saint Paul Public Schools, MN
- Cory McIntyre, Superintendent, Anoka-Hennepin Schools, MN
- Anthony Padrnos, Executive Director of Technology, Osseo Area Schools, MN
- Dr. James Wagner, Superintendent, Le Sueur/Henderson School District, MN
The semifinalists were selected from a pool of 19 applicants based on criteria established by the school board, as well as input from staff, students, parents/caregivers and community members through a public input survey.
Interviews for the semifinalists will be held on Friday, April 24, beginning at 4:00 p.m. and continuing on Saturday, April 25 at 3:00 p.m.
All interviews will be held in the District Office Boardroom. The public entrance is Door 2, located on the north side of the Northfield School District Office on 2nd Street West. The interviews are open to the public. To ensure a level playing field for all candidates, the interviews will not be livestreamed or recorded.
