Dear Northfield School District Families:
I am writing to let you know about an accident this morning that involved a school bus and a student riding an e-bike to school.
This is what we know:
- The accident was on Bunker Drive.
- Police, fire, and ambulance reported to the scene, as is standard in situations like this one.
- Initial indications were that the student on the e-bike sustained minor injuries but was transported to the hospital for further medical evaluation.
- No injuries were reported among the four students on the bus or the bus driver.
I wanted to make sure you knew about this accident and the information we have about it.
