🧭 Reimagine NHS Core Planning Team

We are excited to invite you to apply to participate in the Core Planning Team for the Reimagine Northfield High School project! This team will play a vital role in shaping the future of our school by guiding key design decisions, establishing priorities, and ensuring the vision aligns with our community’s needs. Participation in the team is voluntary and no compensation will be offered.

Meeting Schedule

The Core Planning Team will meet eight times and take building tours, as outlined below:

Tuesday, December 17, 2024 (5:30 – 8:00 PM)
Wednesday, January 8, 2025 (4:00 – 6:00 PM)
Wednesday, January 29, 2025 (4:00 – 6:00 PM)
Wednesday, February 19, 2025 (4:00 – 6:00 PM)
Wednesday, February 26, 2025 (4:00 – 6:00 PM)
Wednesday, March 12, 2025 (4:00 – 6:00 PM)
Wednesday, April 2, 2025 (4:00 – 6:00 PM)
Wednesday, April 16, 2025 (4:00 – 6:00 PM)

Building tours are scheduled for January 21 and/or 22, 2025. More information will be available about time and location in December.

The Activities/Athletics subcommittee will meet four times as outlined below:

Wednesday, March 12, 2025 (1:00 – 3:00 PM)
Wednesday, April 2, 2025 (1:00 – 3:00 PM)
Wednesday, April 16, 2025 (1:00 – 3:00 PM)

Commitment

Your attendance at every meeting is critical, as each session builds on the previous one to ensure thorough collaboration and progress.

What to Expect

As part of the Core Planning Team, you will:

  • Develop draft planning criteria and commitments.
  • Review and provide feedback on site designs and diagrams.
  • Participate in building tours to gather inspiration and insights.
