I have two items today — a reminder to complete our parent/caregiver survey and information about the district’s legislative action committee:
Parent/Caregiver Survey Reminder
Thanks to all of you who have participated in our annual parent/caregiver survey — we have 393 respondents so far. Your perspective is important to us. You can read more about “why” and “how” we use the survey here. We hope you will participate — it can take less than ten minutes!
Legislative Action Committee
The Minnesota Legislature will begin its 2024 session next week. The district has a legislative action committee that seeks to inform community members how the legislature works, provide updates on the progress of education-related bills, and advocate for the needs of Northfield students.
The committee meets twice per month on Saturdays from 9 am—9:45 am via Zoom. The committee’s introductory meeting for the legislative session is Saturday, Feb. 10.
