The Northfield Community Band will kick off its free concert series at 7 p.m. on June 8 at Bridge Square. Bring a blanket or chairs at 7 p.m. every following Thursday in June, and enjoy music and the river view from the downtown park. Concert dates for 2017 include June 8, 15, 22 & 29.

The band is open to any high school or adult instrumentalist eager to share their talents. Rehearsals will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, May 31 – June 28, in the Northfield High School band room. Anyone interested in performing in the band may simply show up at rehearsal.
