At the January 25th Regular School Board meeting Superintendent Richardson presented a process for establishing clarity for the administration concerning the Board’s expectations for implementing School Board discipline policies and procedures detailed in the Student Citizenship Handbook. The initial step in the process will be a School Board work session on Monday, February 1 beginning at 5:00 PM in the High School Media Center. 

Attending the work session will be the School Board and district and building administrators. Current discipline policies and the Student Citizenship Handbook will be reviewed. There will also be a discussion about School Board desired changes in how discipline offenses will be handled. The work session discussion will be used by administrators to draft modifications to discipline policies and procedures and the Student Citizenship Handbook that will be presented to the School Board at a subsequent School Board meeting.
