Northfield Middle School’s student-run bookstore, The Tattered Pages, is now accepting donations for the upcoming ninth annual Holiday Shopping Extravaganza.

The Holiday Shopping Extravaganza kicks off from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 16 and continues during the school day until Tuesday, Dec. 22. Donations are welcome at the middle school. Needed donations include:

  • gently used books for all ages
  • all types of appropriate multimedia, including VHS tapes, DVDs, video games, CDs, etc. (in their original packaging)
  • gently used household gift items, such as picture frames, paper weights, stuffed animals, candles, jewelry boxes, candy dishes, and puzzles
  • gift wrap, bows, bags, etc.

The bookstore provides an opportunity for middle school students to purchase holiday gifts for everyone on their holiday list without spending actual money. Students earn coupons in a variety of ways, such as donating books, working in the bookstore, completing volunteer jobs and by excelling in the classroom.

The extravaganza will include free gift wrapping, holiday treats, music and movies.
