Take a break from the hustle and bustle of the holidays to enjoy a fun-filled night for families with young children. Join in the second annual Jingle Jam event, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17, at the Northfield Community Resource Center (NCRC) youth wing.
Geared toward children, ages birth through third grade, the event will offer holiday-themed stations and activities for kids and parents to enjoy together. Santa will also visit, posing for photos and reading a story.
Go on a candy-cane hunt, make reindeer food, or write and send a letter to Santa. Participate in sensory games and activities for infants and toddlers, such as snow fluff, snowball toss and pin the heart on the Grinch. Play holiday bingo to win small prizes and if the weather permits, take a horse-drawn sleigh ride.
Pre-registration is not required and tickets to the event will be sold at the door for $4 per person or $10 max per family.
