Plan your summer with classes from Northfield Public Schools Community Services. Beginning April 17, summer programs open for registration and the brochure will be hitting mailboxes.
Community Services staff continuously work to provide new classes, as well as old favorites. Below are just a few examples of what’s coming up this summer.
For adults:
- Ladies Night Art Class at the Archer House
- Family Tennis Fun
- Aqua Zumba and Pilaqua
- Sand volleyball and bubble ball soccer leagues
- Learn To Sail
- Play To Train dog-training classes
- Retirement and finance-related classes
- Beginner American Sign Language with local instructor Michael Detjen
For youth:
- American Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Sessions
- New ECFE summer camps
- Adventure Mania, with monthly zip lining, horseback riding and paddleboarding adventures
- Youth baseball and softball leagues
- Eagle Bluff Trip for incoming 7th graders
- Fencing, British Soccer Camp, QuickStart Tennis, and introductory trap shooting and archery
- LEGO robotics camp, Watch Me Draw art camps, Middle School Pops Band, a Project Runway sewing and design camp and American Red Cross babysitter certification courses
