Community Services is hosting a free martial arts festival for all ages, from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 11, at the Northfield Middle School main gymnasium.

Learn more about Tae Kwon Do & Gumdo, Kyudo, T’ai Chi Ch’uan and Shotokan Karate. Instructors and students will provide a 25-minute demonstration of each of the four disciplines, to help explain the differences.

Enjoy live music from the St. Olaf College Taiko Drum Ensemble, while exploring the opportunities for participation at any age or skill level.

Each martial arts school will have an information booth to answer questions, discuss goals and assist with class registration.
