Northfield High School has been invited to join Red Wing High School as representatives from the United States at the International Peace Conference to be held in Drammen, Norway, entitled “Building Bridges, Not Walls.”

From Oct. 14 – 23, a group of 12 Northfield High School students and 10 Red Wing students will join 350 others from ten countries to learn about how to bring people together from various cultures, perspectives and beliefs through the arts. The conference is the fourth of its kind with previous conferences held in Bosnia, Norway and Red Wing, Minn. Upon their return from the conference, the students will be ready to share their learning as well as create opportunities for new bridges to be built at Northfield High School and beyond.
