Northfield’s PRIMEtime collaborative has been chosen as a recipient for a competitive grant through the Minnesota Office of Justice Programs. This grant will provide $161,502 from January 1 – December 31, 2012 to support free out-of-school-time programming for Northfield youth at the Middle School Youth Center, the district’s Summer PLUS program and school-year PLUS program (at all three elementary schools), and the Northfield Union of Youth’s center, the Key. Nearly 1,000 Northfield youth participate in PRIMEtime programming each year. The current PRIMEtime grant expires at the end of December 2011.
