Northfield author Mary Bleckwehl will read her new book, “Henry! You’re Late AGAIN!,” in each Hand in Hand preschool class on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1. This event will kick off a 30 day reading challenge, encouraging parents to read to their child every day for a month. Reading aloud to preschool age children helps set the foundation for healthy reading habits, increases attention span and promotes language development. After the readings, Hand in Hand will send students home with a February reading calendar to be completed for a reward.
