Problem Solving/Complaint Resolution Process
Northfield Public Schools is committed to providing autonomy to the schools within its portfolio of charter schools. In the rare instances where there is an issue that needs to be escalated to the District as an authorizer, a complainant can use this document to share the concern with Northfield Public Schools.
Once a complaint is submitted, the authorizer will conduct an investigation. The authorizer will take any action it deems appropriate, or no action, based on the outcome of the investigation. Complainants will be notified of the status of their complaint upon completion of the investigation, within the parameters of the Minnesota Government Data Practices Act.
