During the school year, many Northfield families depend on the free or reduced-price meals their children receive at school.

When school is out, the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) bridges the “nutrition gap.”

Community Action Center is participating in the Summer Food Service Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, age or disability. Meals will be provided Monday, Wednesday and Friday at Jefferson Square Apartments – 1356 Jefferson Road – from 11:30 AM until 12:15 PM.

Meals will be available on a first-come, first serve basis and is limited by space available. The meal service program begins and operates from June 15 on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays until August 7, except for July 3.
