The Camp Invention summer program is offering Northfield Public Schools staff a special registration rate for 2013. As part of a host district special, staff members may register their child(ren) for camp and receive a $30 discount for each child.
If staff register a child online, using promo code “CHDS,” the discount increases to $35. Parents using this discount will be asked to provide their district email address when registering and will need to pay any applicable per student fees.
The Camp Invention GEO-QUEST Program is coming to:
Bridgewater Elementary School

For students entering grades 1-6
Participants will become investigators, engineers and scientists while creating inventions to solve exciting challenges. Experiment with STEM concepts (science, technology, engineering, and math) in four fun hands-on modules each day, presented by local teachers.
- Invent tools to explore the Earth’s geology
- Discover treasure-filled caches around the world
- Take apart old appliances to see how they work; use the pieces to build a duck-chucking device
- Investigate five extremes of the natural world: heat, height, crystals, water, and cold
