Fly away to Neverland this weekend as local children take the stage, along with two professional actors, in Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre’s Original Musical production of “Peter Pan.” Performances will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 16, and 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 17, at the Northfield Middle School Auditorium.

With original script and music by Prairie Fire’s playwright and composer Daniel Nordquist, “Peter Pan” continues Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre’s tradition of presenting classic tales as you’ve never seen them done before. Prairie Fire Theatre professionals, Jeremy Day and Allison Sherer, are co-directors of the production and will play the roles of Captain Hook and Tiger Lil.

Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and are available at the door. This Prairie Fire Theatre residency is being sponsored by Northfield Public Schools Community Services. For more information, contact Community Services at 507. 664.3649 or visit the website.
